Home Accent Clearance @ Hob Lob (Birdhouse Alert!)

Just a quick post to let y'all know about some super deals at Hobby Lobby. And my condolences for those who unfortunately do not have access to the fabulousness that is THE HOB LOB! There is a whole double sided isle with 50% off home accents. Now, normally this wouldn't be a big deal because this stuff goes half off all the time, right? Well, in said isle there are some beautiful birdcages. They have 3 sizes...small, medium, and large...in both black and white. Remember the one I was soooo excited about getting for half off? Well, I found out later it was NOT supposed to be included in the half off sale. They made a booboo. But now those same ones are all marked down... and they are beautiful...and I think everyone should own at least one birdcage! I had to let my bloggy friends in on the deal.

When I saw this beauty marked down to 9.99, I knew she had to come home with me. And of course I had to add a little ribbon belt to her waist...perfection! My plan is to put this on the desk of my new workspace, that is, if I ever finish it. Another one of those summer goals...I have grand plans. We'll see if I can make it happen. Can I count on y'all to keep me on track?
Thanks...I need all the help I can get!

I was just there and saw those pretty cages and I was very tempted. I only had 10 bucks and I was trying my darnedest to make it stretch! I picked up two C-U-T-E items for my kitchen that I'll post along with my "after" pics of my table!!!!

I'm with ya on the new workspace, I have plans for mine too!

Hobby Lobby is always on my list of places to visit whenever I'm in Texas with family. LOVE that place. Wonder if they'd let me rent a space in the back to just stay? ;) I still love that birdcage, and the dress form is so pretty. My MIL would die to have one of those...she has a couple of similar ones for some girls' teas she does at her church. :)

Hey friend! I could not get the comment thing to work yesterday, but I loved your yardsale finds and you seriously scored. Your daughter is such a little doll in her glasses.
Back to today's post, love Hobby Lobby, but it is over an hour away, so I will have to wait another couple of weeks for my trip to TN to get my fix. I ALWAYs find good deals there. Guess that is why we all love it so much!

Hooray for Hobby Lobby! Girl, I am totally with you on summer projects. Maybe we can be each other's motivation and keep each other on track. I am goin to do a "Summer To Do List" post soon. Since I am a teacher, I just can't tackle major projects till school is out. Our last day is the 28th so I am trying to prep myself for all the projects that need to ne done. ;o) Andi

I wish I wouldn't have spent my money over the weekend because I would love to have a big beautiful birdcage like yours. I also like your "beauty" and the bow is a great accent!

You'll have to excuse me - I have to go clean the salt out of my wounds! No Hobby Lobby :(

Quit taunting me!!!!!!! :)

I seriously don't understand how we don't have a Hob Lob in PA yet. It's just wrong. I mean, seriously, I would probably shop there enough to support the whole store by myself.

Your birdhouse is beautiful!

Those birdcages are beautiful! I won't be able to go to Hobby Lobby anytime soon. I wish that we had one here. I love how you added the ribbon to the little dress form. It really made a big difference.

Have a fun and crafty day!

There was a photo of a watery blue kitchen on from bhg.com that I've been looking for. I thought I saw it on your blog and I've searched and can't find it! If it is hidden somewhere on here would you pleeease link me to it or let me know which of your posts it is on?

I've only been to HL once, and it was sort of overwhelming!

Oooh how I miss the HobLob! When we were visiting the outlaws in Tennessee last week, I had to make a stop! :) One of the things I miss most about the South!

Take an extra pass through the fabrics and rub those pretty calicos for me!

Hey there, Amanda! We don't have Hobby Lobby here in NY. Bummer! You found some great things, though!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me such a sweet comment on my chalkboard window! I responded to your comment, stop over again to check it out!

Hugs from Eventually Cottage!

Thanks for the shout out sista! A home without a birdhouse is...well, a home in need of a birdhouse! I love that white one. It has been so long sence I have brought my tail into one of their dwellings...I think its time. Enjoy your new goodies~

I don't have a Hob Lob and I'm regularly distressed over it. I first went into one last year when I visited my mother in law in Indiana. I would seriously drive to another state just to go shopping at that store!
