A Winner and Some Thrifty Treasures!

I know you all are on the edges of your seats waiting to hear the big winner of my high dollar pumpkin giveaway...right? I was going to make you wait till the end of the post, but I figured you'd scroll down and skip the post anyway...so here goes! The winner is...drumroll please...

Comment #68 Mandi @ Finding Home

Yah...I am sooooo excited to send this little bag of white pumpkiny goodness to my sweet friend in Canada! Whoo-hoo Mandi...you WON. Shoot me an e-mail with your mailing address and I'll try to get it off in the mail tomorrow.

Now, on to my weekend treasure. My very favorite thing I found were these adorable shoes. I paid a whole dollar for them (Stuart Weitzman). I felt so sassy wearing these while leading the music at church today!

A HUGE seagrass looking laundry basket for $2. Love it!

Glass canister set from Pier One for $5. I am so excited to add this to collection of glass containers for my future craft room!

The cutest little set of cupcake party favor containers for $1. I am going to have to hide these really well from my 3 year old or they won't make it to her birthday. She would confiscate them for her play kitchen in a heartbeat!

And last, but certainly not least, a brand new (to us) bicycle for my 10 year old. I paid $15 for this bike, but it would easily cost $100 at the store.
SCORE!

If you'd like to see more thrifty goodness, head on over to Ms. Rhoda's place at Southern Hospitality. Her weekly Thrifty Treasures Party never disappoints!

First off, I am sooooo excited that I won your giveaway! Yahoooooo!!! Like I think I mentioned, I've been readnig about fall decorating lately and this totally gets me even more excited for my favorite season! Girl...you absolutely hit the motherload with yardsales!!! Stuart Weitzmans for $1?! Those shoes are hundreds of dollars!! And way ridiculously cute!! Do you find yours comfy? I bought a pair of SW at a discount shoe store for $35 (not quiet the deal you got but the original tag was still on mine...$295!) and they are my favorite shoes to wear.

I am so laughing about your comment! And now wondering why you bothered to buy a hamper! haha My family is the same way and I am super anal retentive. So when my house is chaos I just feel like I can't think. My big one with my family is why in the world can't you walk a few more steps to the trash can? Don't leave trash on my counters - I AM NOT THE MAID.

Cutie patootie shoes.... and you found some neat glass containers, too. Hampers are obviously something only women use. Men are known for leaving things on the floor. Sue
